Big News from Our Maker Space in Bogota, NJ: We’re Closed for September — Because We’re Growing!

Okay, Beetch Barn friends… here we go!

The Beetch Barn will be CLOSED for the entire month of September 2026 while we pack, organize, move, rearrange, probably rearrange again, and get our brand-new studio ready to welcome you in early October.

Yes, a whole month without crafting together feels like a long time. But we promise: this is not a goodbye. It’s a glow-up.

We’re moving just across the street from our current home at 38 W. Fort Lee Rd. to our bigger, better new home at 39B W. Fort Lee Road in Bogota, NJ. Same town. Same Beetch Barn. More room to make a wonderfully crafty mess together.

Thank You for Making Our Little Studio Feel So Big

Our current 650-square-foot studio has held a whole lot more than tables, chairs, paint, fabric, yarn, glitter, and supplies we absolutely needed to buy.

It has held birthday parties, sewing classes, kids’ workshops, adult craft nights, camps, community events, friendships, laughter, first attempts, happy accidents, and plenty of moments when someone walked in saying, “I’m not artistic,” and left carrying something they were ridiculously proud of.

That is what The Beetch Barn has always been about.

We are crafty, not artistic. You do not need experience. You do not need to be Pinterest-perfect. You just need to show up, pull up a chair, try something new, and have some fun.

To every person who has taken a class, booked a party, brought a friend, trusted us with your kids, shared a post, told someone about us, or simply stopped in to say hello: thank you. You are the reason our little craft studio in Bogota, NJ has outgrown its first home.

Bigger Space, More Makers, Same Beetch Barn Vibe

Our new location gives us approximately 1,000 square feet, up from 650 square feet. That means we can comfortably welcome up to 30 crafters per session instead of 22 — more friends, more families, more creativity, and more opportunities to make things together.

And while the space is changing, the heart of The Beetch Barn is not.

As we officially grow from The Beetch Barn Craft N’ Sip into The Beetch Barn Maker Space, expect the same warm, quirky, no-pressure atmosphere you already know, with even more ways to create.

One of the new programs we’re especially excited about is our Young Entrepreneurs Club, created to give young makers a place to dream up ideas, create products, learn a little about turning creativity into a business, and proudly share what they make. More details on that — and plenty of other new-space surprises — are coming soon!

What Happens During September?

Behind the scenes? A LOT.

We’ll be packing up 38 W. Fort Lee Rd., moving into 39B, setting up creative stations, organizing supplies, preparing new programming, and turning an empty space into a Maker Space that feels unmistakably like The Beetch Barn.

And yes, we fully expect there will be a few “Whose idea was it to own this much craft stuff?” moments along the way.
